This really is a lovely hotel.
Our superb Hosts Bob and Claude who looked after us so well.
We even had time for some Rubbernecking.
We walked up to the old castle keep, what an amazing building.
Simply stunning!!
We visited the church and I lit a candle in memory of my dear friend David Rushton and Jeremy did the same in memory of his parents Joan and Denniss.
My daily paying my respects to the French fallen.
It was time to be on our way, well I thought it was until Jean and the team came around the corner, off came the rucksacks and we had a coffee.
We eventually were on our way. The first town we came to was Montlauzun.
In fact it was to be the only town we were walked through.
I spotted in the distance an old friend, he is still going strong and was pleased to see us again.
A true Camino legend!!!!!
We met a German called Werner who is walking from Stuttgart to Santiago, then back again, some 5770 km, I dropped to my knees and paid homepage at his feet, I was not worthy to stand in his presence.
The scenery was beautiful, I was so pleased the team had joined me on this section of the walk.
We arrived at Lauzerte and got a taxi to our hotel.
That is Jeremy in the pool.
Spot the socks time.
After we had done all our washing etc we got a taxi into town to meet the team for dinner tonight in their Gite.
Dog on a blog time
