Day 21 La Romieu to Condom

I  am pleased to say I had a good nights sleep and I am feeling so much better for it.

Breakfast was at 0900 and I was in my taxi by 0930 back to La Romieu.

After a touch of Rubbernecking I was on my way.

I was walking on my own today .

It dawned on me the other day the crosses I keep coming across are the markers of old for the Camino, it has only taken me 1300 miles to work it out.

Just to prove it is me walking.

Today was going to be a short walk. 

This is the first time I have seen vineyards , I suspect I am going to see a lot more over the coming days

Now there is a marker I recognise.

 

It took me three hours to get to  Condom.

My brother met me at my hotel and we had a spot of lunch, it was so good to see him.

After lunch we walked back to our hotel and bumped into Jean and had a quick beer, sadly I think our paths will not cross again as I have a day off tomorrow.

Just to add to my woes I have now got conjunctivitis, my left kneecap still hurts  and seems to get worse by the day, I will up the painkillers tomorrow.

I look forward to welcoming the Great Dane tomorrow, he is walking with me to the end of this great adventure, god help the locals!!!
